How Do Teachers Use Data Crunches?

They say data will talk to you if you're willing to listen. What do NGPF's users have to say about how they use Data Crunches in their classroom?

Earlier in the year, we asked teachers how they use NGPF's Question of the Day. With NGPF's Data Crunch activities receiving a recent round of updates, we wanted to highlight some of the ways teachers are using these unique resources!

Here are some of our favorite submissions from teachers on how they use Data Crunch activities:

  • Jumpstart student engagement as bell ringers or discussion starters

  • Build anticipation by scheduling them on a regular basis

  • Introduce specific topics with data that can help conceptualize future learning

  • Encourage deeper thinking and gauge depth of knowledge

  • High quality, easy-to-implement sub resources

Thank you to all of the educators who shared their ideas with us! If you'd like to join the conversation, join the group at FinLit Fanatics!
