NGPF MOVE Activities

Many teachers tell us they love to get students out of their seats, moving around the classroom to learn... by using NGPF's MOVE activities. Linked below, find all the MOVE activities, organized by unit.

Here are a few implementation hacks that will save you time in the long run:

  • Make sure to log into your free Teacher Account (or signup here) before you print, otherwise the teacher portions of the activities will be hidden!
  • After printing and cutting the material, laminate any paper used by students that do not need to be written on. This way you can use it time and time again!
  • If the material needs to be hung up by students (i.e. gallery walk) and you only have walls or whiteboards, borrow tape from your colleague or the office for the day to avoid having students waiting around to pull from the one roll of tape that you usually have in your room.
  • Be sure to build in time for students to clean up and reorganize the material so you're not scurrying around between classes doing it yourself.
  • Some teachers are lucky enough to have student aids. If you're one of them, there is no better task for them to complete. Have them cut and laminate all of the printed material.
