As an educator, embracing the power of artificial intelligence (AI) can significantly improve your students' learning experiences and save you time. With tools like ChatGPT and other advanced AI models, you can personalize educational content for students with learning disabilities, low reading levels, or language barriers. Discover how ChatGPT can save you time and effort by tailoring your teaching materials to your students' unique needs!
Note: Without a subscription, you will be using a version of ChatGPT that has a smaller character limit for inputs. You can get around this by telling ChatGPT in your prompt that you will be giving it the material in parts. The output may also stop when it reaches a character limit. In this instance, you can just tell it to continue.

When using NGPF’s lesson guides, you might encounter articles that some students find challenging. By pasting the text into ChatGPT, you can ask the AI to divide the content into manageable chunks and create comprehension questions to ensure your students grasp the material before moving on.
To prevent struggling students from losing confidence, use ChatGPT to generate questions at specific Depth of Knowledge levels. Gradually build up from lower to higher level questions, helping students demonstrate their understanding.
Create custom study guides with ChatGPT to support students in need of accommodations or extra assistance. Simply input the test and ask the AI to generate a review worksheet tailored to the material.
For students with reading difficulties, ChatGPT can summarize long, dense articles into shorter, simpler summaries at specified reading levels, making content more accessible.
For multiple-choice assessments, ChatGPT can rewrite tests by removing one incorrect answer choice, providing a helpful accommodation for students who may benefit from fewer options.
In diverse classrooms, ChatGPT's translation capabilities (similar to or surpassing Google Translate) can quickly convert your materials into multiple languages, facilitating communication and understanding among students from various backgrounds.
The potential uses for AI in education are limited only by your creativity. By leveraging tools like ChatGPT, you can transform your teaching approach to meet the needs of all learners, from breaking down complex texts to generating targeted questions and translating content. Embrace the power of AI in your classroom and share your unique experiences with us!
