Update: The changes announced in this post are now live! [11/13/24]
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Stay tuned for one of our most-requested resources - review materials! This month, we’re releasing study guides for each unit and a fun cumulative game to review for the final exam. With these new study materials, we’ll be retiring the existing Quizlets.
We’ll be releasing a Unit Review for each unit, with questions aligned to the Trimester Course, Semester Course, and Full-Year Course.
Each Unit Review has 4 parts:
Plus, Unit Reviews will be available in Spanish!
We’ll also be releasing PLAY: Final Review Jeopardy, as well as a Final Review Kahoot and Quizizz.
Students will compete in a Jeopardy-style game that covers the core vocabulary and content tested on the Final Exam.
Plus, the 30-question Final Review Kahoot and Quizizz offer additional review in a multiple-choice format.
With the upcoming release of these focused study materials, we decided to retire the existing personal finance Quizlets. Note: this does not apply to the Financial Algebra Quizlets, which will remain available due to the specific math content.
Why retire the Quizlets?
The purpose of the Quizlets was to review unit vocabulary. However, we will have even better options for vocabulary review:
Additionally, we heard from teachers that you were encountering more restrictions on the Quizlet platform. With the new Unit Review and Personal Finance Dictionary, you’ll always have easy access to that content.
When will the Quizlets be retired? We'll retire the Quizlets within the next month. But don't worry - they will remain available until the new Unit Reviews are released.
Can I still use the Quizlets? If you want to continue using the Quizlets after they are retired, you will be able to find them in the Retired Resources spreadsheet found on your Teacher Toolkit page. Please note, NGPF will no longer be maintaining or updating these Quizlets.
What about Kahoot and Quizizz? The Kahoot and Quizizz for each unit will remain available and are part of each Unit Review.
