NGPF’s Taxes curriculum is now updated for the 2023 tax filing year (for filing in 2024) and is ready to use in the classroom! With the latest tax figures, answer keys, and more you’ll be ready to teach your students all about taxes so that they’re aware of what they need to file their own returns.
The curriculum (lessons, activities, etc.) now include the 2023 standard deduction, minimum income requirements to file a return, tax brackets, and more
Answers keys have been updated to reflect the latest figures and information for the 2023 tax filing year
Important tax forms such as the W-2, 1040, and more now reflect the 2023 tax filing year
All updates made to English resources have also been made in the Spanish versions of applicable resources
Any updates made in Semester, Trimester, and Middle School Course lessons have been made in their corresponding Nearpod lessons
All taxes-related Desmos activities in the Financial Algebra course are now updated for the 2023 tax filing year
These updates are not a complete revamp of NGPF’s tax resources–but we have updated the latest figures and information relevant to tax filing year 2023. You also might have noticed the Full-Year Course did not receive these updates. That’s because the new updated version–including new lessons–will be coming out later in the spring!
Brush up on your tax knowledge through our recently updated On-Demand PD, Tackling the 1040.
