Financially Inclined from Marketplace: Seasons 3 and 4 Coming Soon!

NGPF had the honor of collaborating with Marketplace, the leading U.S. business news program, to produce their first ever video podcast show for teens -  Financially Inclined.  We're thrilled to announce that the team behind this teen-friendly money show is gearing up for Seasons 3 and 4!

Building on the success of the previous seasons, these upcoming episodes will offer more insightful conversations, inspiring guests, and valuable lessons to enrich your classroom experience.

Season 1 covered topics like how to budget, buying your first car, credit card tips for beginners, and what to know about the stock market. Then, in season 2, we tackled paying for college, what to know about cryptocurrency, early career tips and tax basics!

You can share episodes with students in class, or assign for homework as we created student resources to accompany each episode, which you can find below the Edpuzzles in NGPF's Video Library!

Born and raised by Dominican, immigrant parents in Brooklyn, Yanely is a proud product of NYC public schools. She graduated from Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School in 2007 before going on to receive her bachelor's degree at Brown University in 2011. As a Teach For America corps member, Yanely taught third and fourth grade in Canarsie, Brooklyn. She received her master's degree from Relay Graduate School of Education in 2013. She spends her spare time making YouTube videos about personal finance on her channel, MissBeHelpful. Yanely also loves to dance, sew, paint, listen to podcasts, and babysit her 10 nieces and nephews!
