The NGPF Summer FinCamp tour has officially begun! Last month, the NGPF Team visited cities in Wisconsin, Ohio, and New Jersey. The tour across 15 total cities continues and registration is still open for eight happening this month and next. See what this summer's participants are saying and why you don't want to miss out!
1. You'll have the opportunity to explore new resources as well as ideas for how to implement them in the classroom. We've planned a variety of sessions for both new and veteran NGPF users!
"It was a great interactive experience. A great variety of presentation styles - large group, small group, MOVE, videos. Thank you!"
"I was so impressed with the collaboration. I learned about different resources and some really fun activities to get my students moving!"
"I found topics I hadn't heard of before and found additional resources that I'm excited to use."
"A big takeaway for me was seeing how you modeled using an NGPF lesson from beginning to end - this really helped me visualize how to use lesson materials in an engaging way!"
2. You'll have the chance to collaborate with other educators.
"I really enjoyed the discussions on differentiation and with the NGPF Super Teachers - lots of great ideas and suggestions to take back to my classroom and department."
"Seeing how others make effective use of the curriculum is a great aid in helping me improve my practice."
"We are surrounded by a number of caring and talented teachers...love having the chance to make these connections and meet so many great educators."
3. It's an inspirational day to get you excited for the school year!
"I am leaving FinCamp with so many ideas and excitement to start the school year! I feel much better prepared to implement NGPF curriculum and am excited to continue learning more. I feel like I will be able to deliver the curriculum more effectively to my students and will make my Financial Algebra classes exciting."
"I have worked with your resources for about 3 years. I have learned so many new things by attending the FinCamp. I did not know about the lists of FinCamp Fridays and videos. I also realized that I have to really plan how to incorporate student's families into my lessons. I also love the diversity of all the activities and that it is constantly updated. Of course, the networking with others who teach is so important."
"I was so impressed with the NGPF Team. They are so knowledgeable, organized, and approachable. THANK YOU!"
"Thank you very much. It is unbelievable how much NGPF has made me a better teacher, investor, collaborator, and overall a better person! Thank you!"
