Why join our Virtual PDs? Here's what teachers are saying:
Monday
With tons of relevant, real-world examples, the Financial Algebra application problems are a great addition to any class. Teachers will explore the differentiated problem sets and how to adapt them to work best with their students.
Wednesday
The rise of the gig economy has made entrepreneurship more common than ever before. While technology has simplified many aspects of starting a business, it has also generated unique challenges. Teachers will learn what’s changed in starting a modern business along with what hasn’t.
Thursday
Explore best practices for using NGPF’s MOVE Activity series to get students learning while physically moving around the classroom. Virtual adaptations for popular MOVE activities will also be included!
NGPF's Speaker series brings in outside speakers to share their expertise on a variety of personal finance topics. Casey Cortese is the Director of Schwab Community Services and the Charles Schwab Foundation, which launched MoneyWise America, a financial literacy program for teens in which Schwab employees are joining forces with nonprofits and schools to help millions of students access financial education.
