As the calendar year winds down, seniors are tasked with applying for college. We know the process can be complicated, with every year bringing changes to the FAFSA. The 2025-26 FAFSA was just released and we have two FAFSA-focused On-Demand modules you can complete them on your own time, at your own pace, from anywhere to brush up on your knowledge.
The two are:
In this module, you will learn about the FAFSA, its importance in the whole financial aid process. We also go over the FAFSA simplification ACT and the FUTURE Act. To better understand the upcoming FAFSA, we compare the 2024-25 form with the 2023-24 and discuss differences/similarities. This is a great module to get up to speed and learn the most up to date information about the 2024-25 FAFSA.
If you want a better understanding of different types of financial aid, I would recommend this module (part of our NGPF Starter Pack). In this module, you will learn about the financial aid timeline and how the FAFSA plays a pivotal role in it. You will learn about the form itself and the general process. We make sure that you learn about different types of financial aid, including work study, loans, grants, and scholarships.
In October of this year, financial aid expert Mark Salisbury hosted a Q&A about the FAFSA. In case you missed it or wanted to revisit it, check out this post.
