Question of the Day: What is the #1 thing that makes Americans feel wealthy?

Having money isn't the bottom line...but it also doesn't hurt.

Answer: A sense of well-being

Questions:

  • What comes to mind when you hear the word “wealthy?”
  • Do you think societal and cultural influences play a role in how people perceive well-being? Why or why not?
  • Discuss instances where someone might have a lot of money but low well-being, and vice versa.

Here are the ready-to-go slides for this Question of the Day that you can use in your classroom.
