About This Virtual PD: 

From the perspective of students and families, the entire college admissions process (down to its very name) focuses on getting accepted first, and only afterwards considers how one might pay for college. Although that may have been a reasonable way to frame this process decades ago, prioritizing getting in at the expense of what it costs has produced an avalanche of collateral damage; financial pressures compelling millions to drop out, and billions of dollars in student debt, and a generation of young adults that are powerless to choose their own future. This presentation will advocate for reversing the prevailing college search paradigm and prioritize affordability - price, value, and maximizing return on investment - at every step of the way.
